Hash Report #661
Hares – This Won’t Hurt and Sunflower
The Route: Sunflower versed the virgins in hash signs. The walkers route led from Capuchos down through Gigaros, past Quinta do Carmo and then back up to Capuchos. The runners did mostly the same route with two runner’s loops, one which passed by the reservoir in the Tapada de Monserrate. The runners route was 9.7 kilometers long (it was probably considerably shorter as the Baron measured it, but he managed to find almost every backtrack) and the runners route about 5.7 kilometers.
Virgins: Elizabeth Collins, Robert Richards, Gabriel Richards Collins – Fellow Kansans by blood or university affiliation: The University of Kansas (KU). Have provided a link, as a courtesy to you, what Teddy Roosevelt called the greatest cheer in college sports:

Visitors from other Hashes:
Colonoscopy – anyone else curious how he got that name? Maybe best to leave it alone.
Gavin Caldwell – son of Colonoscopy

Retornados: Baron Von Jockstrap, Boomerang, Father Haggis, Meatballs, Misdirected, No Moor, Tatties, Amelia Segwick, Jason Segwick, Rein De Boer, Noelle De Boer.

Hash Birthdays: Baron Von Jock Strap – 75?? Did 66 at Marvao away hash?
Flying Mum 125, Icepyk 45, Lord Egg 70, Tatties 65.

No Names – Jason Segwick, Performance rubber business.

Namings: Amelia Segwick christened Carousel. As she wants a horse, her father is in the plastic business and she takes part in the hash circle.
Misdemeanors: The Baron – defiled purity of trail. Flying Mum – has been asking where hash cups were so got her favorite. Father Haggis, Misdirected, Tatties – no hash t-shirt. Sorry, but can’t remember exactly why Gavin Caldwell was also included in misdemeanors.
Hash Business: Announcements about Summer Solstice Hash. E-mail will be coming soon.
Hares Next Hash: K2, Easy Goa, Sunflower
Thanks to:
This Wont Hurt for helping to hare and for taking great pictures, as usual.
The Beermeisters – for having everything ready for me to pick up.
Misdirected – for packing the Beermeister “stuff” in my car. However, as Misdirected is in the shipping business, I imagined that:
1. The stuff would be placed in the wrong car.
2. Misdirected would two days later inform me that the stuff went to Porto, and that at my convenience I could pick it up between the hours of 0010 and 0030 in Porto.
3. I would get there and the stuff would be water damaged and covered in mold
4. Misdirected would claim no responsibility saying it was an act of God.
Bloomingood – for hashpouring once again and to your trusty assistants Meatballs and Ready Steady Stop.
Snoopy – for letting your dog lean against me.
Bardess – for filling in as hash cash , and Wannabet for assisting her.
And thank you to anyone else I didn’t mention for making it a nice day.
On On
