Hash #662 started from the parking lot at the hipodromo in Cascais, towards the cidadela and near the marina.  It was a Live Hash, set by Hares Easy Goa, Sunflower, and K2, setting off about 15 minutes prior to sunrise.  From the cidadela, it was primarily on the paredão near the water, with beautiful views of the ocean and the rising sun.  Walkers and runners both left the paredão in Monte Estoril and the paths diverged near the Hotel Atlantico.  Runners carried on through Estoril and just into São João, before returning back through Estoril behind the Casino and into Monte Estoril.  Both walkers and runners enjoyed a Hash Halt at Jardim dos Passarinhos before completing the rest of the route behind Hotel Miragem and back into Cascais.  Walkers’ route was estimated at approximately 9k, and runners’ route estimated at approximately 12-14k.

Virgins were three:  Jorge, friend of Bad Hare Day; Clara Gomes; and Ann Marie Hayes.

Retornados were the following:  Oval, Not Tonight, Jackpot, Detonator, Immaculate Misconception, Charge Ahead, Edyta Serwicka, and Trolley Dolley.

Birthdays were celebrated by the following:  Bad Hare Day (155); Well Preserved (30); Blooming Good (123); Honky Tonk Woman (44); Voldemort (33); and Shallow Charge (115).

Misdemeanors were for:  TuTu Much – violating the circle; Detonator – interrupting the circle; No Moor – for thinking we were in Britain and on British Summer Time.

Following the Circle, we went to Vila Gale for breakfast.  The buffet selection was very good, with a shortage of coffee, beer, and incendiary Irish proclamations of independence.

Next Hash is the AGPU/Blazing Saddles Hash.  Hares will be Baron von Jockstrap and No Moor.  Following the Circle, we’ll have the Blazing Saddles BBQ, organized by Hoochie Coochie Man, Honky Tonk Woman and Voldemot.  During the BZBBQ, we’ll have our AGPU (Annual General Piss Up (annual meeting)) at which time we will elect/appoint the new Mismanagement Committee.  If you are interested in serving on the Mismanagement Committee, please contact Sunflower.
